Paying Property Taxes |
Methods of Payment accepted are: Cash, Check, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Travelers Check and Credit Card.
A $30.00 service charge will be added to any check returned by your bank for any reason.
Partial payments are accepted.

Online Payments |
Online Payments is now available! We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
It can be done in following two ways:
1. Credit Card or Electronic Check
- Bureau Code 1071003 will be needed to make any payments
- There will be a convenience fee of 2.39% minimum of $1.00 on debit/credit cards
- There is a flat fee of $0.50 when payment is made with an Electronic Check.
**Please advise E-check payments will not post to your account immediately.
The confirmation email you receive will show payment is confirmed.
Certifed payments verifies all accounts before approved payment is sent to our office.
Please DO NOT double pay. Original date payment is made will reflect effective date posted to property account.**
- IT IS THE TAXPAYER'S RESPONSIBLITY TO ENSURE THE CORRECT ACCOUNT NUMBER AND INFORMATION IS ENTERED WHEN PROCESSING A PAYMENT

How to make online payment with a credit card: |
- Search for the Property using search criteria
- Click on the Property in the search result to open the details
- Click on the Bills tab in the details. You should see the total taxes due in the box on right side.
- To pay full amount, simply click Pay My Bills. To make Partial Payment, click on Make a Partial Payment, enter the custom amount, and then click on Pay My Bills. A warning window will open to confirm the payment amount
- Click Continue. You will then be redirected to the On-line Payments website.
- select type of payment ( Visa, Mastercard, Discover, E-check etc)
- Next fill in the required information including your payment information, then Click Continue.
- Then verify your billing information and select the process payment option.
- If the transaction is successful you will be given a confirmation number/receipt.
- Print the confirmation number/receipt for your records and the transaction is complete.

Delinquent Tax Information |
If property taxes are delinquent, property owners can make installment payments.
The property owner must sign an installment agreement with the delinquent tax attorneys. Contact 855-650-5848

Our Responsibilities |
The Major tax duty of an assessor-collector is the collection of property tax as established by the Constitution and the State Property Tax Code. In addition, as an agent of the Texas Department of Transportation, the assessor-collector is responsible for the registration and licensing of motor vehicles owned by residents of the county. The Victoria County Tax Assessor-Collector also issues permits for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Property values are set by the Victoria County Appraisal District.
Tax statements are generated in house and go out to property tax owners in October of a taxing year. |
